“HARK! THE BASEMENT LADIES SING” will get You & Your Co-workers Singing!

Get ready for the holidays! You are invited to “Fa La La” with the Church Basement Ladies as they deck their fellowship hall at the Ames Center in Burnsville. Inspired by your favorite Christmas carols, this brand new installment will have your group singing all the way home.

The ladies are thrilled to host you in their basement this holiday season. HARK! THE BASEMENT LADIES SING is the latest installment in the highly successful Church Basement Ladies’ musical series.

It is December 1960, and members of this small rural community have gathered around their reel-to-reel tape player to record a special Christmas greeting for one of their boys serving overseas. As the ladies serve up coffee and cookies, Pastor suffers from a severe case of stage fright when he attempts to share his special Christmas message; Mavis smuggles a piglet into the kitchen; a surprise visitor leaves Karin speechless; and the Widow Vivian Snustad gets caught recording a special message of her own. Throughout it all, you are encouraged to try and sing along as Beverly Barsness bangs out some of your favorite Christmas carols on the old upright.

Celebrating the Yuletide takes the efforts of everyone in a small rural congregation so, whether or not you once served the Lutefisk, rang the bells, built the manger scene, soloed in the choir or dusted the pews, you are invited you to come “Fa La La” with your favorite Church Basement Ladies as they deck their fellowship hall.

Their home at the Ames Center has new and improved seating, catering options, free parking and easy access off of 35W. Group rates start at just 10 tickets. For more information contact Dorian at 612-322-5767 or [email protected]
