Our 103-acre property, named Tanadoona, is located on Lake Minnewashta is bordered by Lake Minnewashta Regional Park, adding to the natural wildlife and outdoor experience. You’ll frequently see wildlife such as deer, turkeys, turtles and many birds like bald eagles, bluebirds, robins, woodpeckers and more! And enjoy the many native plants in our growing pollinator garden.

We’re conveniently located in the southwest Twin Cities metro, but guests instantly feel like they’re far from the city.

Whether you’re looking to hold a meeting in a beautiful natural setting with the conveniences of wifi and AV or you’re looking to host a multi-day, large-scale event throughout the property, we’d love to help plan your upcoming event.

Add Team-Building or other Outdoor Activities
A variety of Team-Building opportunities are also available lead by trained Camp Fire Minnesota staff – from team-building challenge courses to field activities and archery and more. Great for adults of all ages and youth alike – and designed just for your group!

Brand-new Event Center
Our Community & Dining Center opened June 2020 and features floor to ceiling windows to keep your group feeling close to nature. This space provides a flexible floor plan for seated or standing events and meetings (up to 200 people), plus an open concept on the lower level. Indoors, groups enjoy a beautiful gas fireplace, wifi, AV, and gender-neutral bathrooms. Step outside for nature hikes or enjoy picturesque nature views to the south from the deck and to the north on the patio with outdoor seating.

The Community & Dining Center also carries forward some special historic features from the old camp dining hall – including the dining hall fireplace which is now the outdoor patio fireplace.

Groups may rent specific spaces or exclusive use of the property.
