Summer is here and the National Eagle Center is excited to announce it’s once again time for Fishing in the Refuge – bring the kids!
Starting Thursday, June 3rd, kids ages 15 & younger can fish for FREE on the public pier outside our backdoor every Thursday and Sunday from 10am-3pm! We’ll supply the fishing poles, the lifejackets, and the bait, and the beautiful Mississippi River will supply the fish. All participants must be accompanied by an adult. It’s a great way to spend the day and enjoy the outdoors with the kids and grandkids, learn new skills, and watch wild eagles fish right along with you! So check it out this summer and bring the kids to go Fishing on the Refuge!
